1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "We", "us", and "our" refers to TPRS Tarleton LTD, with a registered address at 1a Tarleton Office Park, Windgate, Tarleton, Preston PR4 6JF.
- "You" or "your" refers to the customer receiving our services.
- "Device" means any phone, laptop, tablet, or electronic item brought to us for repair.
2. General
These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement for the provision of repair services by TPRS Tarleton LTD. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Any variations must be agreed in writing.
3. Estimates and Pricing
- All quotes provided are estimates unless specifically confirmed as fixed-price.
- Estimated times for repair completion are not guaranteed and are subject to parts availability and workload.
- We reserve the right to adjust the cost of repair if additional issues are discovered during diagnosis. Any significant increase will be communicated to you for approval before work proceeds.
4. Payment
- Payment is due in full upon collection of your Device.
- For mail-in repairs, payment is required before we dispatch the repaired Device back to you.
- We accept cash, card payments (in-store), and bank transfer. Card details are processed securely and not stored.
5. Repairs and Workmanship
- We will perform repairs with reasonable care and skill.
- Parts used may be new or refurbished to restore full functionality.
- We are not liable for damage to third-party software, apps, or data loss during repair. We strongly recommend backing up your data before handover.
6. Warranty
TPRS Tarleton LTD provides a 24-month (2-year) warranty on all repairs, covering both labour and components.
- This warranty is valid from the date of service completion and applies to faults arising from the repair work.
- Replacement parts are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty, if applicable.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, liquid, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Devices where the original repair has been tampered with by third parties.
7. Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, profit, or business opportunity.
- Your Device is left with us at your own risk, except for loss or damage caused by our negligence.
8. Data Lien and Testing
- We have a legal lien on your Device until full payment is received.
- You grant us authority to use your Device for testing purposes during and after repair to ensure proper functionality.
9. Returns and Cancellations
- Repairs that have commenced cannot be cancelled, and payment is still due for work completed.
- Mail-in repair customers have 14 days from payment to request a refund or cancellation, minus return shipping costs.
10. Data Protection
We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Your personal information will only be used for repair purposes and business operations.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
